Cantona swims into Manchester

Eric Cantona is returning to Manchester to film a comedy called The Mermaid Man, about a widower who sets up a synchronised swimming team. The former Manchester United striker has carved out a career as an actor since quitting football in 1997. The Mermaid Man will be the 30th film starring or directed by the former French international footballer.
