Cellphones charged in 60 seconds

Smartphones could soon be charged in less than a minute now that scientists at Stanford University, in the US, have invented an aluminium battery so powerful it could revolutionise how power is stored. An iPhone6 currently takes about two hours to fully charge its battery but with the new battery it would take only 60 seconds - and the new battery will keep going for seven times longer than the old lithium-ion type.
