I would like to salute the University of Cape Town council for the professionalism it displayed in handling the matter of the Cecil John Rhodes statue. The council was responsive, engaged, and listened attentively to the grievances of students and others. That defines great leadership.Every day we read about service-delivery protests in which people demand access to basic human needs.
