Parents no longer have to travel far or stand in long queues to submit enrolment applications at schools - they can now use their smartphones. A new web-based app, which allows parents to apply and register their children at Gauteng schools, goes live today.Developed by the provincial education department, the app provides parents with a list of schools close to their homes or work addresses.
