Hlophe weds in Muslim ceremony

Western Cape Judge President John Hlophe converted to Islam two months ago in order to wed fellow judge Gayaat Salie-Samuels. The two were married yesterday in a traditional Muslim ceremony - the nikkah - at a mosque in Claremont, which was followed by a lavish reception at the Steenberg Golf Estate, in Tokai.
