One less drink for a longer life

Four in five drinkers would live longer if they cut their alcohol intake by just a glass of wine a week, according to an international study. The report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development says "the vast majority of drinkers" would benefit from cutting back.Its study, Tackling Harmful Alcohol Use, says international research shows that between 78% and 83% of all drinkers can reduce their risk of death by having just one less unit of alcohol per week.
