SARS always gets its man - 92% of the time, anyway

The SA Revenue Service has over the past financial year achieved a 92% conviction rate in cases it had handed over for prosecution, including tax and customs-related crimes. There were 256 individuals or entities convicted in cases involving R196-million, with fines totalling R9.6-million issued in 2014-2015, SARS said.
