Emoji passwords, allowing people to log into their banks using four emoji characters, are said to provide greater security than traditional PINs or passwords. The characters are selected from a bank of 44 emoji. Intelligent Environments, the UK company behind the system, said emoji are mathematically more secure than four-digit pass codes, with 480 times more permutations.
