Hostel on edge over 'hit'

Police and political leaders fear that the killing of a high-ranking IFP member on the outskirts of a volatile KwaMashu hostel could lead to further violence. A month of "relative peace" in the area was shattered by the slaying of Mbhasobheni Biyela on Tuesday night.Biyela was the IFP's branch leader in the notorious men's hostel precinct north of Durban.
