Eskom implements stage 2 load shedding to build up reserves

With the country’s power supply remaining under pressure‚ Eskom has implemented stage 2 load shedding which is expected to continue till 10pm on Sunday in order to build up reserves for the ensuing week. “The power system is currently constrained and under pressure because of a shortage of generating capacity as some of our power stations’ units are currently on maintenance‚” the power utility said in a statement.
