DA to question tablet contract in parliament

EduSolutions, the company responsible for the 2012 Limpopo textbook crisis and reported to have close ties to President Jacob Zuma, has been awarded a contract to deliver tablet and laptop computers, and e-learning materials to schools in Gauteng at a cost of R200-million, the DA said yesterday. Given EduSolutions' questionable history, this should "[sound] loud alarm bells", the DA MP and spokesman on basic education Desiree van der Walt, said.
