Chung slaps down Platini

Michel Platini came under attack from another of his Fifa presidency rivals yesterday after former vice-president Chung Mong-joon branded him a protege of "cannibal" Sepp Blatter. Chung, a South Korean billionaire, confirmed he would formally announce his candidacy to replace Blatter next week with a swipe at the Uefa president, who is the overwhelming favourite for the job.
