Receiver says 2 million tax returns submitted already

The number of income tax returns submitted by taxpayers in the new tax season has passed the two million mark‚ South African Revenue Service (SARS) said on Monday. This means that 44.77% of taxpayers required to submit a tax return have already done so compared to 39.31% at the same time last year‚ it said.
