SA TV in line for three Emmys

The story of the Marikana shooting of miners is up for an Emmy. Miners Shot Down, produced by filmmaker Rehad Desai, has been nominated in the documentary category of the 2015 International Emmy awards.Two other South African productions got the nod. M-Net series MasterChef South Africa is nominated in the reality, or "non-scripted", category, while StarSat's Puppet Nation ZA was nominated in the comedy category.
