Actors' dual Holmes affair

Fans of the BBC's modern-day adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes stories -Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman - are abuzz following the release of a trailer for a one-off special. This time Holmes and Watson will do their detecting not in present-day London but in the Victorian era, making Cumberbatch and Freeman the only actors to have played the characters in both the modern and Victorian settings.
