Gran stabs boy over remote

A Russian woman has been jailed for six years for repeatedly stabbing her young grandson for not fetching the television remote control for her, prosecutors said at the weekend. The 51-year-old "stabbed her five-year-old grandson three times in the stomach and chest with a kitchen knife after he did not pass her the remote control", said the regional prosecutor's office in the Siberian Krasnoyarsk region.
