Gauteng education department asks schools to report water shortages

The Gauteng Department of Education on Thursday moved to put in place “contingency plans to address the issue of water disruptions in affected schools in the province”. Its first action has been to issued a request “as a matter of priority to district directors to provide the department with lists of schools which have been affected by the water disruptions in certain areas in the province”.
