SA commander to lead UN troops in DRC

A former South African special forces commander is to lead the troops serving with the United Nations' mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo‚ the UN announced. Lieutenant General Derick Mbuyiselo Mgwebi takes over as Force Commander of the UN Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the DRC. He succeeds Lieutenant General Carlos Alberto dos Santos Cruz of Brazil.
