Health MEC to ‘sway legal opinion against suspect’s bail’

KwaZulu-Natal’s Health MEC will be court on Monday “as part of a concerted bid to sway legal opinion against” a suspect getting bail. A statement from Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo’s office on Sunday said he will “be at Umbumbulu Magistrate’s court to oppose bail for a local man who was arrested after allegedly using a bush knife to cut his own cousin’s hand during an argument”.
