Dear One, I'm so sorry about vanishing like that just before Christmas, but I couldn't stand the traffic and the wailing toddlers snotting on sweating Santas. I had to get away. I hope you'll forgive me for not forwarding an address for postcards and the like. The thing is, I've deliberately come to a place where news travels very slowly, if at all.
