Four in KwaZulu-Natal court for shooting, wounding off-duty cop in bar brawl

Four suspects have been arrested and have appeared in court in connection with an attack on an off-duty policeman after an argument in a tavern in the Ulundi area in northern KwaZulu-Natal last Friday. The police officer was shot in the stomach as he was leaving the tavern with friends‚ allegedly by a man with whom he had earlier had an argument and who had followed him from the establishment‚ according to police spokesman Major Thulane Zwane.
