Dire need, but social workers still jobless

Despite South Africa's dire need for social workers, 2 500 who recently qualified cannot find work. The country needs more than 66 000 social workers, but has fewer than 18 000.About 2 500 graduates were granted bursaries and have been promised jobs by the Department of Social Development since 2011, but are still unemployed.
