Patient admitted for heart, renal failure found dead in bathtub at Helen Joseph

The Gauteng Department of Health on Monday said it will probe the “mysterious death of a patient” who was “found in a bathtub with severe burns to the face‚ parts of left thigh and leg”. The discovery of the 35-year-old deceased woman at Helen Joseph Hospital in Auckland Park was made on Sunday.She had been admitted on Friday‚ along with a three-month-old baby‚ and according to the “hospital’s records the patient diagnosis was heart and renal failure”.
