Student unrest shuts down Walter Sisulu University campus

Walter Sisulu University has closed down its Butterworth campus due to student unrest‚ interim vice-chancellor Professor Khaya Mfenyana announced on Monday morning. This comes amid plans to reopen the doors of learning on February 8. Registration started on January 18 and was set to be finalised on February 5.
