Charities struggle to stay open

A Non-Profit Company that takes care of children and adults living with disabilities is struggling to care for its charges. The Orion Organisation has seen a severe drop in income and donations in the last year‚ and has reported an operational loss in 2015 – the first in many decades.The charity‚ based in Atlantis in the Western Cape‚ cares for 25 children with disabilities and 60 frail and disabled adults.
