Lack of funds keeps Cape Town artists from Infecting the City as festival canned

Cape Town’s Infecting the City Festival for 2016 has been cancelled because of a lack of funds‚ the organisers Africa Centre announced on Thursday. The festival - one of the Mother City's signature artistic events - was scheduled to have been held in March.Africa Centre said that every year since its inception in 2008‚ audience attendance‚ artist participation and media attention had increased.
