Kids trudge for hours to get to school

More than half a million pupils spend more than an hour walking to school, the majority of them in rural areas.This is according to the National Household Travel Survey. Statistics show that of a total of 599,000 pupils who spend more than an hour walking to school, 450,000 were in rural areas.At 9.
