Prisoner on verge of completing his sentence escapes from EC prison

A Middledrift Correctional Centre inmate‚ Mzwandile Mpukwana‚ 44‚ who was serving a seven-year sentence for housebreaking and theft‚ escaped on Thursday. According to the Department of Correctional Services‚ Mpukwana was sentenced on September 18‚ 2010.“The last time he was seen‚ he was with a group of 10 offenders working at the garden within the correctional facility precinct.
