Fish found in Pretoria North tap water

Retirees at a North Pretoria resort were shocked when they turned the tap - and got three small fish.

According to the Pretoria North Rekord, Monique Visser (63)  the resort's chair, called the authorities to investigate on Monday.

She had apparently drunk a bottle of water taken from the resort's taps that morning - which she believes may have caused her to suffer a stomach upset.

One of the fish has been sent off to be tested along with the water, apparently one of the resort's residents works in the municipality.

As for the other two fish? Visser said she liked them.
