Lion Park rape suspect nabbed in Operation Paseka

Operation Paseka saw the arrest on Sunday morning of a man suspected of raping a 26-year-old Lion Park woman in January. The taxi driver was among the 65 suspects taken into custody in Diepsloot over the weekend‚ Gauteng police said in a statement.“The alleged rape incident took place after the victim had boarded a taxi driven by the 35-year-old suspect on the Old Pretoria Road during a night during the month of January‚” it said.
