To hear or not to hear: Tough call for country's top judges in colleagues' case

The Constitutional Court is faced with a difficult decision of whether or not to hear an application by two of its own judges‚ Bess Nkabinde and Chris Jafta. This week‚ the two justices applied to the court for leave to appeal against the judgment of the Supreme Court of Appeal in the case in which they had sought to challenge the legality of a tribunal investigating Western Cape Judge President John Hlophe.
