Just weeks before the local government elections, the ANC in Gauteng is cleaning house.Yesterday, the party's provincial disciplinary committee said Tshwane regional deputy secretary and member of mayoral committee for roads George Matjila had been expelled for misconduct. The committee found him guilty of masterminding the disruption of a 2014 ANC Youth League regional congress to scupper a faction he considered "hostile".
