Railway regulator slams torching of trains

The Railway Safety Regulator has denounced the recent torching of trains in the Western Cape. The regulator said on Friday that the arson actions can lead to injuries and fatalities and will cause a further burden and discomfort for commuters.The regulator said it was aware of problems‚ including the fact that the rail infrastructure is old and in some instances in a poor condition.
