Amnesty backs SA novelist

South African author Janice Warman's The World Beneath has been recommended for use in US schools and endorsed by Amnesty International.The book was selected as one of 300 on the annual list of recommendations made by the Junior Library Guild, which means it will be in US school libraries.Speaking from London, Warman said she was honoured by the attention her book had received.
