Drug prices 'spaced out'

In a world where the same drug can cost anything between $4 (R60) and $1,000 (about R15,000) for a single pill, health experts are questioning the pricing system for medicines. A recent study has raised concern about the effect the pricing system has on access to medication in poor countries. Two World Health Organisation experts analysed the prices of Solvaldi and Harvoni used to cure chronic hepatitis C in 30 countries across the world.
