There's a timelessness to the story of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, arguably the continent's most singular extra-musical personality. It's a vibe that makes yet another reissue of his biography, This Bitch of a Life, by Carlos Moore forgivable. The book is being reprinted by African Perspectives press for the continent's Anglophone countries.
