Amy Biehl, the American Fulbright scholar murdered in Gugulethu on August 25 1993, gets the In Cold Blood treatment in Justine van der Leun's We Are Not Such Things: A Murder in a South African Township and the Search for Truth and Reconciliation (Fourth Estate).That, at least, is the line pushed by Van der Leun's publishers.
