More people are being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol

Even with the convenience of taxi service apps at their fingertips‚ Johannesburg motorists are still driving drunk – and they are increasing in number. This according to Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar‚ who said that 329 people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in raids on the city's roads on Saturday night.
