Refugee centre goes hi-tech

The Marabastad Refugee Reception Centre in Pretoria is going hi-tech to clamp down on corruption and overcrowding. The system, starting in just over a month, will enable applicants to use their fingerprints to access the centre and its services.Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba said yesterday the system would be paperless.
