Car crashes into bridge barrier and bakkie‚ killing one

A man was killed on Saturday evening when his car crashed into a bridge barrier and then a bakkie on the Ascott-on-Vaal Road in the Vanderbijlpark area‚ paramedics said. “It is believed that the driver lost control of the light motor vehicle‚ causing it to crash into the bridge barriers‚ eject the driver‚ and finally crash into the bakkie‚” said ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring.
