‘We will not be deterred by police brutality’ - Wits SRC vows to continue fees fight

The student representative council (SRC) of the University of the Witwatersrand has lashed out at management and police for allegedly using force to protect the status quo. In a statement‚ the student body said that about 31 students had been arrested on Tuesday morning in an attempt by university management to derail the movement.
