Held back by the blaze

"By the time I got there, only one of my sisters was screaming softly: 'Help, help'. Less than two minutes later all I could hear was the fire crackling." Cheslin Bennett, 32, recalled the moments after he arrived at his mother's house, less than 30m from his own home in Bonteheuwel on the Cape Flats, where two of his sisters and four nephews were killed in a fire.
