WATCH | Tons of smiles and loads of tears — kids' first day at school

While some pupils were excited to get back to the classroom, others were reduced to tears when their parents left them for their very first day of school.

Public schools across the country commenced the academic year on Wednesday, January 9 2019. Most of those pupils who were enrolled for the first time ever were a little overwhelmed.
