Fifty-three years ago‚ US President John F Kennedy outlined the definition of consumer rights.On Tuesday‚ the National Council of Provinces will be holding a debate on World Consumer Rights Day “under the theme: ‘Advancing our national resolve to protecting the social and economic welfare of consumers’ ”.
