Police had detained a teenager for questioning, but said they also were continuing to look for possible suspects.

Deputy Chief Michel Moore says two members of Adat Yeshurun Valley Sephardic synagogue were shot in the legs as they were heading to services shortly before 6:30 a.m. (1330 GMT) Thursday.

Moore says the gunman, a man in a hoodie, said nothing before opening fire.

He says the men are in good condition at a hospital. There's no immediate word on a motive.
