On 'Gloves off: Mbalula has a go at Zuma'

THE deputy police minister's shallow interest of wanting the ANC secretary-general position at all costs might lead to him kissing his political career goodbye. The only thing I want is for Julius Malema to be reined in. President Jacob Zuma will triumph over the ANC Youth League, but at what cost? He needs Cosatu? - Samathwala

On 'Police battle illegal shack dwellers'

THEY were warned what would happen if they did not move. They thought the police would do nothing to maintain law and order, as in the rest of the country. They were wrong. We demand law and order in Western Cape. That's what we pay tax for from our hard-earned salaries. - Yebo!

On 'Fair-play doubts cloud SA's Olympic bid'

SOUTH Africa might never recover from the expense of hosting the word cup. The cost of hosting the Olympics would be far greater. A village for 12000 plus competitors will have to be built. It can be used as affordable housing afterwards, but money will have to be diverted from other projects and services to fund it. New stadiums, swimming pools and so on will also have to be built. Where is the money for this?

Durban city manager Michael Sutcliffe and his ANC mates will have a good time next year as Durban hosts discussions about the venue, but let's hope it ends there. - Grant9

On 'Premier's R2m for gracious living'

R2-MILLION for a renovation? This is more evidence of the disdain the ANC has for the taxpayer and the arrogance it has in lording over "little people". Nomvula Mokonyane isn't fit to be the premier of the powerhouse of the African economy. - Lockstock

On 'IRR: ANC ombudsman complaints baseless'

ALL ANC members and supporters should read more and talk to organisations that are for open democracies, who want to hold tyrannical governments to account.

Being ignorant is not a death sentence. You just need to read more and see how an open democracy would benefit all colours of the rainbow nation. Do you really want the ANC to be protected? Do you want all the corruption to disappear? Tell me why MP whistle blowers get fired. The IPA and MAT, combined with the ANC, are a threat to national security. - TruthConquers
