Verwoerd would be pleased
Fifteen years after the watershed political changes black pupils are still subjected, in my books, to the worst sociopolitical injustice of the modern era: being denied the right to quality education.
HF Verwoerd would think his dream of condemning black folk to eternal poverty through sub-standard education is being realised. He must be smiling, wherever he is.
