SJ Probert, by e-mail: Why shoot the messenger? What e.tv did was nothing short of the work our police are supposed to do.

It exposed the criminal element that will befall our precious 2010 World Cup. The SAPS should be prepared for an avalanche of crime and curb it before it happens.

By subpoenaing e.tv, and not looking at how exposure of this nature could assist the police, press freedom is threatened. Let the police do their own investigation and not rely on the broadcast medium to do it for them.
