Need to break abusive cycle

"lily": If only all women would treat their children like little prince(ss), love them and cherish them and protect them at all times. But too often women vent their frustration on their children, (it's all too easy to hit a defenceless child) abuse them, allow others to abuse them, and use them as pawns in relationships.

When a child fails in a society, it's primarily because the parents didn't try hard enough (if there were parents around). And since the formative years are with the mother, the onus is usually on her to impart moral values to the child.

But many mothers are more than happy to dump their children on older relatives, past the age of child caring, past the age of tolerance towards young hyperactive children.

An abused child becomes an abusive teenager/adult.

To break the cycle we should attempt to address the problem at the root or be doomed to continue to live in this violent and brutal society.

Yah and it's easy to comment from a comfort zone ,,,,

My condolonces to Geraldine Ruiters, may she come to terms with what has happened.
