Remove board before it costs us millions
Katlego Mohotji, Ga-Rankuwa: I think the Eskom board that fired former CEO Jacob Maroga without following correct procedures must be removed immediately; its actions might cost South Africans unnecessary millions.
Weeks ago, the World Bank approved Eskom's R27.2-billion loan to ensure that South Africa keeps its lights burning.
Now the country will entrust this incompetent board with such a chunk of money to carry out projects that, one of the coming years, will be questioned for having been issued unlawfully or without following the correct procedures.
